NJDOT receives Historic Preservation Award for RT 206 Bridges over Stony Brook Rehabilitation Project
New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials were awarded two 2018 New Jersey Historic Preservation Awards from the State Department of Environmental Protection, Historic Preservation Office, for the successful completion of the Route 206 Bridges over Stony Brook historic projects.

CHANCE on Main highlights local organizations making a difference in Africa
HANCE on Main –a for-purpose boutique and gallery in Pennington, NJ, continues to give a “chance” through its continued partnership with Wazi Shoes, a collection that features beaded leather sandals for women, handmade in Tanzania. On June 15, CHANCE is hosting a trunk show where sandals from the 2018 Wazi Spring/Summer collection from 3pm-6pm.
Because CHANCE loves to make connections, over the weekend CHANCE on Main will also feature the works and wares of local organizations supporting economic opportunites in Africa, including Seeds to Sew, Global Connections Kenya, and Hopewell Keroka Alliance.

The Bridge Academy students, Kesi Lewis and Adrienne Hopkins, were keynote speakers at the regional Dare to Dream Student Leadership Conference at Rider University on May 16, 2018. Bridge Student, Max Kaiser, entertained guests with a performance on his saxophone.
Dare to Dream is sponsored by the New Jersey Office of Special Education Programs and highlights strategies and information to prepare high school students with disabilities for college and career readiness.

A hundred local families gathered to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Music Together with a party and family sing-along on Saturday, June 2, at the Music Together Worldwide Headquarters in Hopewell. Canned goods and toiletries were collected to benefit the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).
