Classic Cars, Classic Fun at Hopewell Borough’s Cruise Night

by Ryan Kennedy

It’s that time of year again!  Time for great food, shopping and classic cars in Hopewell Borough.  The Borough’s Economic Development Commission has set this spring’s Cruise Night for Friday May 1st, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  The entire community is invited to come explore all of the shops, eateries and fun that Broad Street (and don’t forget Seminary Avenue) has to offer.  Classic cars from many area car clubs will line the streets.  Most restaurants will offer both their regular table service and special options for visitors who would prefer to sample a little of everything.

This year, Hopewell-based non-profit Christine’s Hope for Kids will be featured, with information on their charitable work available on the corner of East Broad and Blackwell, in the lawn next to Nomad Pizza.  The excitement starts on West Broad street as far down as Paint the Roses Cafe and stretches all the way to Brick Farm Market on the Eastern end of the Borough.  Ample on-street parking is available throughout the town, except for streets otherwise marked by the Hopewell Township Police for the event.
