Food Trucks unite for the 1st Annual Food Truck Fiesta at Mercer County Park!

The event, taking place on March 29th, will be a smorgasbord of traveling culinary treats for all ages and palates. There will be about 12-13 different gourmet food trucks (2 sweet and 10-11 savory), a beer and wine garden, live entertainment by DJ Jim Smith and the band, Kindred Spirit, an all-age interactive art installation and rumors are there might be fire pits!

Plus there will be a ton of fun for the kids: bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a rock wall.

SurfandTurfTruckCrewThe driving force (pun intended) behind the event is the owners of Hamilton’s own “Surf and Turf Truck,” Adam and Beata. Their truck serves up lobster rolls plus other land and sea sandwiches. Take a look at their website for their full menu — it’s mouthwatering.

“He is the talent. I am the skill,” Beata jokes. The pair got into the food truck business because they were looking for a more fulfilling work experience that combines Beata’s graphic arts and marketing background with Adam’s sales and hospitality skills. A food truck was a perfect fit.

The “Surf and Turf Truck” will be joined by the area’s best and award winning gourmet food trucks. Here’s a teaser of some of those coming:

In case you are unable to eat your fill on March 29th, another “Surf and Turf” organized food truck event will coming to Hopewell Boro in June.
