Last month, Renata asked the FaceBook group, Hopewell Pennington Update, for Valley locals’ recommendations on where to get a great tuna salad sandwich — not merely GOOD, but REMARKABLE. And the responses were plentiful with 78 comments weighing in about where Renata should go for the perfect tuna sandwich.
From these suggestions, Renata did what any normal food-loving person would do: try them. So she started on her Tuna Tour going to 9 local restaurants and eateries in search of tuna nirvana. Renata posted her reviews, along with photos of the sandwiches and owners/wait staff, each time she visited a new place with delicious results.
Next up, Renata will be going on a Cake Quest looking for the most delectable slice of cake and she needs readers’ help! If you have a suggestions for a Mercer County in-house baked cake you think Renata should try, comment below. She can’t get to all of them but it will be so yummy trying.
