Homicide in Hopewell Under Investigation

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hopewell Township  Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred on Tuesday.

Hopewell police responded to a residence on Washington Crossing-Pennington Road just after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, after receiving a call from the homeowner. Upon arrival, police found a deceased female in the house.

Authorities are working to positively identify the victim and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. There was no forced entry to the residence and authorities believe that this was an isolated incident.
