The “Hopewell Boro Block Party” is like a fun casual beer drinking social gathering (think classier than frat party but plenty of fun) for adults in the heart of Hopewell Boro right on the lawn outside Nomad Pizza and Wislar Wealth Management.

Last year, my husband and I finally crawled out of that newborn-plus-preschooler cave we had been dwelling to attend and had a great time. We’re going again this year so long as I can walk and lift my beer-drinking arm after the mud-run “Mudderella” race I will attempt on the same day.

This year it will be held on May 10th from 7 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now. They are $20 for unlimited beer, passed appetizers including food from Brother’s Moon, Antimos’, Peasant Grill, Francos, plus pretzels and sushi. And, if you pre-buy your tickets, you’ll get your own take-home beer glass. There’s a great selection of beers, possibly a gluten-free one this year, plus wine and non-alcoholic drinks.  Entertainment will be provided by a professional band from NYC!!

Get your tickets at PNC Bank in Hopewell, email hopewellblockparty@comcast.net, or call Deb Stuhler at 609-865-9818 or Sandy Brown at 609-468-8545.

Obviously, you have to be 21 or older to attend. No kids. No strollers. <<Pure bliss.>> See you there. Cheers!
