Hopewell Township Police Blotter: Week of August 17, 2018

The following is information provided by Hopewell Township Police Department: 

Burglary and Theft: On August 6, 2018 at 7am, Officer Robert Voorhees responded to a construction site at Rt 31 and Denow Road. An employee reported that someone cut a chain link fence and entered the property. They then broke into a tool trailer and stole approximately $13,000 worth of equipment. Detective Maccaquano is assisting in the investigation. The burglary and theft occurred between August 3 and August 6.

Burglary/Theft/Criminal MischiefOn August 9, 2018 at 9am, Officer Mark Panzano met with a victim on Forrest Edge Drive in Titusville. The victim advised he was renovating a recently purchased home and sometime overnight someone entered the residence and broke several windows, made numerous holes in the wall and broke several pieces of plumbing causing flooding in the residence. The damage amount was estimated at $5000 dollars. The person[s] also stole two power drills valued at $200. The investigation is ongoing.
