Hopewell Valley Recreation Foundation to Host Annual Fall Ball

by Mary Galioto

The Recreation Foundation of Hopewell Valley invites the community to attend its annual Fall Ball on Saturday, November 21st from 7-11pm at the Hopewell Valley Golf Club.

“One thing that is very unique to the Fall Ball is the opportunity for members of all recreational leagues to come together for one night of celebration,” explained Kim Bruno, Trustee of the Recreational Foundation.

The evening includes food, music, open bar and a silent auction.  This year’s entertainment will include a special performance from the Hopewell Valley Youth Chorale.

“It’s wonderful to showcase all the talents of our youth,” said Emily West, Chairwoman of the Fall Ball. “Many of the members of the Youth Chorale are also athletes and we want to support all their talents.”

The Recreation Foundation is Hopewell Valley’s premier advocate for facilities that provide active and healthy recreational options for area youth. Since 1999, the Foundation has raised nearly $1.5 million for the construction of five multi-use grass fields and a softball field at the Athletic Fields at Timberlane and a multi-sport turf field at Central High School.  For more information and to order tickets to the event, please visit our web site at www.hvrecfoundation.org
