Hopewell Valley U8 Girls Dust Devils Close Out a Great Season

by Community Contributor
The Hopewell Valley U8 Girls Dust Devils ended their spring soccer season with a record of 14-3-2.  In the last month of their season, they won their last two tournaments and two regular season games. In the Hopewell Valley Memorial Day Tournament and the Sunburst Tournament at Mercer County Park, this group of fierce U8’s beat two U9 teams (Tewksbury and Hillsborough) and a U8 team (Hillsborough) to keep the championship in Hopewell Valley.

After starting the Sunburst Tournament at Mercer County Park on June 4th with a tie against the Princeton SA Aces, the girls went on to best three more teams — NJ Crush FC Blizzard,  Monroe Township SC Wildcats, and Hamilton Girls Wildcats FC — to become the Sunburst Tournament Champions of 2016.
They ended their season with two regular season wins against Bridgewater and Sayresville this past weekend. These girls are angels off the field and devils on it!  The Dust Devils are ready for U9!
