Hopewell Valley Youth Chorale Sponsoring Hopewell Area Music Competition

by MercerMe Staff

Few things are more uplifting than the sound of children singing. At the end of January, the Hopewell Valley Youth Chorale filled the Pennington Presbyterian Church with a joyful, inspirational performance with messages of love, hope and family.

Newly appointed HVYC executive director, Deborah Zeller, commented, “I was so moved by the sense of community that filled the room. The quality and enthusiasm of the singing was magical! I look forward to growing the organization further allowing more kids and community members to experience the magic of HVYC.”

One of the organization’s first initiatives, under Ms. Zeller’s leadership, is the HVYC’s Mic Drop 2017 fundraiser that will be take place on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Hopewell Valley Vineyards. This competition will showcase local-area musicians of all genres with judges and cash prizes. Castle Lane will perform as the house band. Juried entries for adult musical acts are being accepted now.
