It is nearly time for the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County Insect Festival!

InsectFestI just shared with you our caterpillar adventure and the amazing experience with the Master Gardeners.

This festival is your chance to learn all about local insects at an event that is appropriate for all ages, from young children to grown-up children.

There is Q&A opportunity with Barbara Bromley, Mercer County’s Horticulturalist, who is so knowledgeable and with feed your insect curiosity with more local insect information than you thought possible.

Located at the Mercer Educational Garden which is the Master Gardeners’ teaching garden directly next to the Mercer County Equestrian Center on Federal City Road.

There’s plenty to do, lots of fun to have, and not creepy-crawly nightmare stuff. Just good clean bug fun.
