‘Tis the season! Pennington’s 30th annual Holiday Walk will take place Friday, December 6 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will kick off at 6 p.m. with a tree lighting at Howe Commons, 65 Main Street in Pennington Borough.

Hopewell Valley Central High School’s Brass Band will perform and free hot chocolate and cider will be provided.

Following the tree lighting, activities for children and teens will be available from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Hopewell Valley YMCA at 62 South Main Street. Pennington Dance Company will perform at 6:45 p.m. at Trenton Cyrus Lodge #5 at 131 Burd Street and a presentation by Wallaby Tales Traveling Zoo will take place at Pennington Library at 7 p.m.  Throughout the evening a holiday market will be available at Pennington Presbyterian Church with music by DJ Mary Ann Fuccello.

During the event, Main Street between Academy and Borough Hall, and Delaware Avenue between Eglantine and Burd Streets will be closed. Parking will be available in Boro Hall parking lot, accessible from North Main Street at Franklin Avenue.
