Beginning Monday, August 11, the Mercer County Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing work along East and West Delaware Avenues in Pennington Borough. The streets are a key access route through town, crossing both Main Street and Route 31, and the work is expected to stretch from the borough’s eastern boundary near King George Road to the intersection of West Delaware and Route 31.
The work is expected to take place over the course of two weeks from around 9 am to 3:30 pm each working day, according to a representative from the Department of Transportation. Alternate routes and detours are being marked throughout Pennington Borough.
