Today, a van that was used by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and was destroyed during the attacks of September 11, 2001 was moved from Hanger 17 at JFK Airport and delivered to Hopewell Township’s Woolsey Park where it will go on permanent display as a tribute to the 84 Port Authority employees, including 37 police officers, who were killed that day. Members of all Hopewell Valley Emergency Services salute the flag that accompanied the vehicle on its journey. This is the same flag that covered the ten ton steel artifact when it was moved to Woolsey Park five years ago.
