In a hard fought victory on Sunday, October 16, the Hopewell Valley U9 Boys Wildfires beat Monmouth United S.C. Pride by a final score of 2-1.
Lucien Gharagozloo, Matthew Golian, and AJ Gray were goalkeepers and all three deflected multiple goal attempts. Tyler Ansari, Christian Heide, and Mario Radzicki provided strong offense. The defense was controlled by Stephen Bates and Noah Calhoun. JJ John scored Wildfires first goal and Ryan Tackacs scored the second goal. Bennett Patterson gave an outstanding performance by assisting in both goals. Go Wildfires!
