Thief Nabs Car from Hopewell Township Driveway

The Hopewell Township Police Department responded to a Coventry Lane address on Saturday, November 18, 2017 for a stolen car report.

Sometime overnight, someone stole a black 2012 BMW 650 from the Coventry Lane driveway. The car had been left unlocked with the keys inside of it. A second vehicle in the driveway had also been entered and a briefcase was stolen. The briefcase was later recovered by a passing motorist on Carter Road.

Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to contact the Hopewell Township Police Department at 609-737-3100.

In an effort to reduce the risk of car theft, residents are asked to refrain from leaving keys in the car. Also, individuals are asked to please lock vehicles even when parked in front of one’s residence.
