Tip Leads to Arrest in Kerr’s Kornstand Theft in Hopewell Township

by Mary Galioto

After turning to the public for help to identify an unidentified woman caught on surveillance camera at the Kerr’s Kornstand, a local family-run retail produce stand, Hopewell Township Police Department Officer Alexis Mirra received a tip that lead to charging Wanda Jablonska-Mus of Lawrence NJ with 2 counts of theft from the Kerr Roadside Farm stand that occurred in February and in a March.

Jablonska-Mus allegedly took various produce items from Kerr’s and was also observed taking money from a wallet that had been left in the stand.

During her investigation and follow-up on a tip provided to her, Officer Mirra learned the identity of Ms. Jablonska-Mus.  She was processed and released on April 2, 2016.  Her case will be reviewed by the Mercer County Prosecutors Office.  The Department would like to thank all those that came forward with information after this incident was posted on our Facebook page seeking assistance.  The information proved valuable in the investigation.
