by MercerMe Staff

Toll Gate Grammar School held its 30th annual effort to prepare more than 700 Thanksgiving dinners for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (“TASK”).For the past few weeks, the Toll Gate school community has donated food, supplies, time and energy to cook, carve and package 60 turkeys, bake and box 288 pies, and deliver 750 Thanksgiving meals. Third grade students helped unload the truck at TASK yesterday and decorated for the celebration today.

“This project is so much fun to be a part of,” said Dawn Berman, a Toll Gate parent and TASK co-chair. “It’s when we see the spirit of our beautiful community shine brightly.”
