We finally made the big move from “Merritt and Mary” to MercerMe!

Phew! But we think it will be worth it. We took with us all our past posts plus created a format to better provide some local Mercer County, NJ news and events.

You can expect much of the same — Merritt will soon be instructing us how to survive a 3-year-old (I can’t wait!) and Mary will be sharing some happy shopping experiences. And then we’ll have some info about what’s happening around the heart of NJ — Mercer County. Perhaps anatomically, based on the central location, Mercer might be the stomach which works well because (and this is coming from a Brooklyn girl) we’ve got great pizza. To go with that theme, Ryan will soon introduce himself and be posting about Trenton restaurants’ move from Trenton into other parts of the county. And you’ll also hear from Andrea who will be posting about a new Pennington salon opening this month!

We’re thrilled about our move, our new look and that you’re in for the fun ride!

Mary Galioto
Mary Galioto is the founder, publisher and editor of MercerMe. Originally from Brooklyn, Mary has progressively moved deeper and deeper into New Jersey, settling in the heart of the state: Mercer County. Formerly the author of an embarrassingly informal blog, Mary is a lifelong writer and asker of questions and was even mentioned, albeit briefly, in the New York Times and Washington Post. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY Binghamton and a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School. In her free time, Mary fills her life with excessive self-reflection, creative endeavors, and photographing mushrooms. Mary also works as the PR Coordinator at the Hopewell Valley Arts Council, serves on the volunteer Board of Trustees of the Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT), holds a seat on the Hopewell Borough Board of Health, and is a member of the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance.
