Woman Injured in Carjacking at Lawrence Shopping Center, Police Seeking Perp and Vehicle

    At 1529 hours, Lawrence Township Police responded to the Lawrence Shopping Center at 2495 Brunswick Pike (Route 1) for a report of a motor vehicle theft.

    It was determined that the vehicle a 2013 Kia Rio silver in color was taken by force by a heavy set African American male approximately 6’0 tall. After ripping the 77 year old female occupant out of the driver seat the vehicle and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
