by Community Contributor

Due to deteriorated pavement surface conditions, Blackwell Road (County Route 632) between Pennington-Lawrenceville Road and Benjamin Trail in Hopewell Township is scheduled for milling and resurfacing by the Mercer County Department of Transportation & Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Monday, June 20, with an anticipated completion time of approximately one week, weather permitting.

During this project, Blackwell Road will be closed to through traffic from 9am to 3:30pm; however, access will be permitted for local residents, and municipal and emergency vehicles. Motorists will be directed to use Pennington-Lawrenceville Road and Federal City Road.
