by Community Contributor

Scotch Road (County Route 611) between Parkway Avenue and Upper Ferry Road in Ewing Township is scheduled for milling and resurfacing by the Mercer County Department of Transportation & Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Monday, July 1, with an anticipated completion date of July 22, weather permitting.

During construction, Scotch Road will be closed to traffic from 9am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. However, access will be permitted for local businesses and residents. Southbound Scotch Road traffic (at Upper Ferry Road) will be detoured left onto Upper Ferry Road, right on Lower Ferry Road, and right onto Parkway Avenue to Scotch Road. Eastbound Parkway Avenue traffic (at Scotch Road) will be detoured conversely.
