The demolition of the Hopewell Inn at 15 East Broad in Hopewell is starting today. Parking spots on East* Broad and Seminary Avenue are already blocked off.
The general contractor reports that the equipment will roll in after 11am. They will start with the west side of the building (the octagonal addition next to the Library). They plan for this to take over a week.
Besides the noise, expect lots of water spray to keep down the dust.
