Drug Charges Against Three Hopewell Valley Central High Students

The Hopewell Township Police Department was notified of a possible CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substance) violation at the Hopewell Valley Central High School which occurred on January 22, 2016.

School officials reported that a high school staff person had witnessed suspicious activity between multiple male students at the school. Further investigation by school officials found that a CDS violation had occurred.

Detective Michael Sherman was then contacted and conducted a follow-up investigation.

The following charges were filed by Detective Sherman:

Student #1: Distribution of CDS and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

Student #2: Possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

Student #3: Possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
