The 2019 general election, this year, is one month from today on November 5. Seats up for election for those in Hopewell Valley are State Assembly, Mercer County Executive, Mercer County Freeholder, Hopewell Borough and Hopewell Township Municipal Council/Committee positions, Hopewell Valley Regional School District Board, and the Fire Department.

The State election commission makes voting by mail easily available; applications can be downloaded at http://www.njelections.org/voting-information-vote-by-mail.html or picked up in person from the Clerk’s office. To receive your ballot by mail, the application must be received by the County Clerk seven days prior to the election. Once you apply to vote by mail, you always will receive a vote by mail ballot unless you notify the County Clerk. Ballots mailed to the County Clerk must be postmarked no later than election day and received in the Clerk’s office within 48 hours after the election.
