On Thursday, Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance along with Hopewell Valley Senior Services is again hosting their annual event that hopes to bring some holiday cheer to our troops overseas.
When: Thursday November 20 from 3-5pm
Where: Hopewell Branch of Mercer County Library / 245 Pennington-Titusville Rd., Pennington
What: Holiday card making/writing plus enjoy some refreshments while you’re writing
The recipients of these cards are some of the approximately 400 male and female Infantry soldiers from the Woodbury and Freehold, New Jersey areas who are performing a security mission in the Kuwait area. The unit will be overseas until early Summer 2015.
In addition to writing cards, you can also bring some candy donations (a great way to unload some of that Halloween candy) but make sure it is nothing that melts so no chocolate.
