2022 Oscar Nominated Short Films (Documentary) at Hopewell Theater

For the 17th consecutive year, Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films, opening on Feb. 25th. With all three categories offered – Animation, Live Action, and Documentary – this is your annual chance to predict the winners (and have the edge in your Oscar pool)! A perennial hit with audiences around the country and the world, don’t miss this year’s selection of shorts. The Academy Awards take place Sunday, March 27th.
Nominations (estimated running time of 160 minutes):
- Audible – Matt Ogens and Geoff McLean, USA, 39 min.
- Lead Me Home – Pedro Kos and Jon Shenk, USA, 39 min.
- The Queen of Basketball – Ben Proudfoot, USA, 22 min.
- Three Songs for Benazir – Elizabeth Mirzaei and Gulistan Mirzaei, Afghanistan, 22 min.
- When We Were Bullies – Jay Rosenblatt, USA/Germany, 36 min.
Please note that this program is Rated PG-13 to R for mature content, and is NOT intended for children.
