Learn about the Many Forms of Dementia

Mar 6, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Kevin Jameson, Founder of the Dementia Society of America, will be the guest speaker at the March 6 Brown Bag Lunch sponsored by the Older Adult Ministry Committee of the Pennington Presbyterian Church. The entire community is invited. Come to learn more about dementia and about this nation-wide, all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to increasing awareness of the broad spectrum of conditions which fall under the umbrella of dementia. DSA also focuses on creating more opportunities for people with dementia to enjoy a wider variety of music and art activities to stimulate their brains and enrich their lives. Finally, DSA actively recognizes caregivers and innovators who benefit the dementia community.

Lunch on March 6 at the church is at 12:30pm. Bring your own brown bag sandwich. A light dessert and beverages will be served. Mr. Jameson will speak from 1 to 2pm and gladly answer your questions about dementia and DSA. Please call the church to reserve a spot. 609-737-1221, X10.
