Please join Hope Rises Up in partnership with PRISM – Bending the Light, Hopewell Valley Regional School District, and Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance for evening centered in education and advocacy surrounding issues that impact the LGBTQ+ community, particularly our students.
LGBTQ201 will take place on Wednesday, 6/1 at 6 PM in the Community Room at Hopewell Valley Central High School. Six breakout panel discussions will be offered which include such organizations as Athlete Ally, Garden State Equality, Princeton PFLAG, HiTOPS, Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice, Lifeties, and Hopewell Township Police.
The event is open to the entire community and free due to the generous donation of our Corporate Sponsor, Knox Grove Financial. Founding Partner and Financial Advisor, Christina Nash his been committed to this kind of advocacy work for decades. She and her wife, Leah Donato, a licensed clinical social worker working with LGBTQ youth, will be participating on two of the panels for the evening.
