NJ Healthcare Disparities and Access Inequity during Covid-19

Join STAND CNJ and our local leaders as they share how Central New Jersey is addressing issues of inequity, access, and other barriers to healthcare, including the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine , and how we can advocate to direct resources to communities most in need of healthcare. Our speakers will highlight the state of affairs in healthcare in NJ and guide us on how we can make a difference in this critical effort.

  • Dr. Rachael Evans, Chief Medical Officer, Henry J. Austin Health Center
  • Dr. Ashgan Elshinawy, Pulmonologist, Penn Medicine and St. Peters Hospital 
  • Nayla Caruso, Community advocate, healthcare and vaccine distribution

Our host, Dr. Neha Saraiya, will moderate the interactive discussion.

This forum will provide education and awareness, as well as offer ways to advocate for equity in healthcare services.
