Run for Club Kids

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year. As part of the yearlong festivities, the organization is holding its annual Run for Club Kids during the Meadows Miler in Rosedale Park on Saturday, November 5. This fundraiser, which is in its sixth year, aims to raise over $150,000 to provide college and career preparation as well as after school programs.
In recognition of this milestone, six current and former members of the Hopewell Township Committee—Courtney Peters-Manning, Michael Ruger, Kevin Kuchinski, Uma Pumadare, David Chait, and Julie Blake—have joined together as Team Hopewell Township to raise funds for a very worthy cause.
In addition to its Clubhouses at 212 Centre Street in Trenton and 1040 Spruce Street in Lawrence Township, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Mercer County also operates the After School Program at ten Trenton and Ewing public schools and the Bike Exchange at 1500 North Olden Avenue in Ewing.
