We Are Still Here: The History and Continuing Culture of New Jersey’s Indigenous Tribal Communities (virtual)

November is National Native American Heritage Month. Rev. Dr. J. R. Norwood Jr. is a tribal historian who served as the Principal Justice of the Tribal Supreme Court and Councilman-at-Large for the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Nation in South Jersey. He will offer a presentation on the history and current work of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape, the largest American Indian Tribe in New Jersey, followed by a question-and-answer session. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Hopewell Branch Library, Friends of the West Windsor Library, the Hightstown Library Association and the Friends of the Lawrence Library.
