Food Truck Friday in Hopewell was this past Friday and it was a huge success. It was sponsored by Hopewell Boro Recreation Committee and the “brainchild” of the Rec Committee and Hopewell Boro resident and Taco Truck lover, Susan Pollara.
In attendance were the Surf and Turf Truck, the Taco Truck, Cupcake Carnivale, Nomad Pizza and Jack & Charlies Ice Cream and Hot Dogs. Also in attendance was an estimated 1500-2000 food truck lovers. The Cupcake Carnivale sold out at 550 cupcakes. Nomad sold 400 pizzas. For the Surf and Turf Truck, they sold as many rolls* as they do at Night Market, a Philadephia food truck event.
Sure, you might have waited an hour for a taco at the Taco Truck, but in true Hopewell Boro spirit everyone had a great time.
Here are several slideshows of photos making you glad you came or wish you had! Special thanks to Purple Circle Photography and Occasions Paperie for lending their photos to share!
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for another Food Truck Friday in Hopewell really soon! For updates stay tuned here or visit the Food Truck Friday Hopewell website.
Edit: Rolls really means ROLLS … like as in “bread” and not the name for tickets in food truck land as we previously stated.
