Gunshots in Ewing on Rt 31, At Least One Wounded

On Sunday March 29, 2015 at approximately 4am, Ewing Police received reports of shots fired at a residence in the 2100 block of Pennington Road. Investigation revealed that there was a small party (approximately 25 people) at a residence when an altercation started inside the residence between two males.

Gunshots were exchanged and a third party was struck with a round. The victim (25 year old male) was struck in the shoulder area and fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim did not seek medical attention.

Ewing Police indicates that additional reports indicated that there may have been a second victim with a gunshot wound however this has not been confirmed at this time.

One shell casing was found at the residence.
