The Hopewell Museum and Hopewell Valley Historical Society invite the community to help plan the “future of history” in Hopewell Valley, as part of the organizations’ partnership outreach efforts to better coordinate activities and more effectively serve the interests and enthusiasm of community members.
Anyone interested in local history, genealogy, and culture is invited to one of three open forums to be held throughout Hopewell Valley to share ideas about how to make local history more accessible and dynamic. The forums are open to the public and will be professionally facilitated. Each will last about 90 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.

- The first forum will be held on Wednesday, October 10, at 7pm, in Pennington at the United Methodist Church in Morrell Hall located at 60 South Main Street, Pennington, NJ;
- The second forum will be held Thursday, October 25, at 7pm, in Titusville at the Union Fire House located at 1396 River Road, Titusville, NJ; and
- The third forum will be held Saturday, November 3, at 10am, in Hopewell at the Hopewell Museum, located at 28 East Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ.
Hopewell Valley Historical Society and Hopewell Museum representatives look forward to: exploring possibilities for stimulating programming and exhibitions; expanding the scope of their research and the diverse stories shared; envisioning educational opportunities for audiences of all ages; learning about community members’ interests and areas of expertise; and fostering stronger relationships within the community.
