Honors Performing Arts High School Students To Put on Production of The Heidi Chronicles

The students at Hopewell Valley Central High School will be presenting the play, The Heidi Chronicles, a Pulitzer Prize winning drama written by playwright Wendy Wasserstein.

The show is being produced by the students in the Advanced Scene Study and Directing class, an honors-level Performing Arts course. These students are responsible for the entire production from producing, casting, directing, marketing, set design, and wardrobe. The play is about a a young woman, named Heidi Holland, and follows the character from high school in the 1960’s to her career as a successful art historian in the 1980’s.

The play will be staged at the Hopewell Valley Performing Arts Center, 259 Pennington-Titusville Road on on Friday and Saturday, May 8th and 9th, at 7:30 PM. Performances are free of charge and is recommended for a mature audience.Heidi Poster 2
