Hopewell Township hosting listening session on September 21

by Community Contributor

Hopewell Township Deputy Mayor Michael Ruger will hold a listening session on Monday, September 21 for residents to comment on any issues affecting the Township. The session will be held virtually via Zoom from 5pm until 6pm or after all attendees have had a chance to speak, whichever is later.

“Committeewoman Julie Blake recently had a listening session to discuss the hiring process for Hopewell Township’s Police Director,” said Ruger, who will serve as host of the meeting. “We wanted to provide a similar opportunity for residents to raise other issues that may be on their minds.

Initial comments should be kept to three minutes per person “to allow everyone an opportunity to speak,” said Ruger, and the call will be open until at least 6pm or until everyone has had a chance to speak. Ruger will summarize the comments and take the information back to the full Committee.

The listening session will be a Zoom meeting. Please register in advance through this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwrdOmvrTguE9aexvTObfGnO-lFdvM10EjU. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
