Hopewell Township Police Blotter: Week of February 13, 2017

The following is information provided by Hopewell Township Police Department:

Theft: On 2-9-17 at 4:20 pm, Officer Nicholas Sparaco arrested and charged a female individual with the theft of eggs on 3 separate occasions from the Kerr Farm stand on Pennington Rocky Hill Road over the past few weeks. She was placed under arrest and processed and released. Her case will be heard in Municipal Court.

Theft: On 2-2-17 at 11:10 am, Detective Louis Vastola arrested and charged a female suspect of Melrose Ave Trenton NJ with the theft of $40.00 cash from a resident on Old Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, where she was acting as a home health care aid. She was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released.  Her case will be heard in municipal court.

Disturbance: Officer Mandy Grey responded to a business in the Hopewell Crossing Shopping Center for a disturbance involving a former employee on February 3. Officer Grey arrived and was advised that the individual had become argumentative with staff and had knocked over a computer monitor in the office. The individual was placed under arrest on outstanding traffic warrants out of Trenton, Ewing and Hamilton and was transported to police headquarters for processing. The individual was turned over to Hamilton Township Police on their outstanding warrant. The business declined to press charges against her.
