The Hopewell Valley Senior Services offers events, programs, educational classes, and lectures throughout the year. This month, they are offering the following:

Brown Bag Luncheon
Friday, January 4, 2019 at Pennington Presbyterian Church, 13 South Main Street. Now that the holidays are over, are you looking for suggestions and or guidance for finding possible solutions to downsize and declutter for moving or just making your home more comfortable for you at this time in life by getting rid of “stuff”. Our speaker will be John Walsh, owner of Princeton-based Walsh Senior Solutions. This program is part of the “ AGING WITH GRACE” series. Lunch is at 12:30 with the speaker beginning at 1:00.  Bring your sandwich.  A beverage and dessert will be provided.  The entire community is invited. Questions may be directed to the church office at 609-737-1221.

FREE Rabies Clinic
Saturday, January 5, 10am-12pm, Hopewell Township Public Works Building, 203 Washington Crossing Pennington Road.

If These Stones Could Talk: Author Talk & Book Signing Tuesday, January 15, 6pm, Mercer County Library, 245 Pennington Titusville Road, Pennington. Authors Elaine Buck and Beverly Mills are former board members of the Stoutsburg Cemetery Association, a cemetery purchased by three black men in the early 19th century to bury Blacks with honor and dignity.  Their newly released book, If These Stones Could Talk, provides a unique window to African- Americans in New Jersey previously missing from the historical record. Senior Resource Fair
Thursday, January 24, 11am –1pm at Hopewell Township Municipal Building, 201 Washington Crossing Pennington Road, Titusville.   Drop in anytime and enjoy a free lunch from Brandywine Senior Living as well as getting information from helpful resources in the area!  No registration required.
