Lawrence Hopewell Trail Announces New LHT Trailsnaps Blog

by MercerMe Staff

The Lawrence Hopewell Trail announces the release of a new online feature, a weekly blog designed and written by local resident and Lawrence High School student Cassie Ankener.

Ankener has grown up living near the LHT and is enthusiastic about the time she spends on the trail with family and friends. The LHT Trailsnaps blog will focus on observations and reflections on trail activities and the natural world.

Ankener hopes to share these experiences and encourage others, especially young people, to get out on the trail for relaxation and fun. The LHT is proud to promote this personal look at the beauty and treasures that are available to all with a little time on the trail.

The Trailsnaps blog can be seen at https://lhttrailsnaps.lhtrail.org/.

“We hope everyone will visit the Trailsnaps blog to celebrate this special look at the LHT,” said Lindsey Bohra, co-chair of the LHT Public Relations Committee. “We invite people to read, enjoy, and share your own experiences in the blog comments. The trail is here for everyone.”

The Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT) is a 22+ mile bicycle and pedestrian trail and transportation corridor through public and private land in Lawrence and Hopewell Townships in Mercer County, N.J. The Lawrence Hopewell Trail Corporation is a nonprofit organization that depends on the community for support.
