Letter to the Editor: Sourland Conservancy Thanks Volunteers and Donors

by Community Contributor

To the Editor (and Community!):

The Sourland Conservancy would like to thank the many teen and adult stewardship volunteers who logged a total of over 300 hours throughout the summer removing invasive plants and maintaining trails in Sourland region parks and preserves: Hopewell Boy Scout Troop 71; Hillsborough High School; FaithJustice confirmation candidates from St. Charles Borromeo in Skillman and St. Augustine of Canterbury in Kendall Park; and Sourland Conservancy members, staff and Stewardship Leaders.

The Conservancy would also like to thank the generous businesses that donated saws, loppers, pruners and gloves to support Sourland stewardship initiatives:  Belle Mead Co-Op; Camps Hardware, Belle Mead; Kale’s Nursery & Landscape Service, Princeton; Peterson’s Nursery, Garden Center & Landscaping, Princeton; and Smith’s Ace Hardware, Princeton.
