Hopewell Township residents have an opportunity to vote for and re-elect a really unique individual on November 6. She personifies the best sort of public servant. She is smart. Superintendent Explains Impact of PILOT on School Budget

At the September 24 township committee meeting, Superintendent Tom Smith put to rest claims that a PILOT somehow takes money from the schools. At that meeting, Mayor Kevin Kuchinski shared a PowerPoint of a memo from Dr. Smith that explains how a municipality’s PILOT agreement with a taxpayer has zero effect on the school budget. Blake on Township Open Space, Pipeline Fight, and Fiscal Responsibility

… I have watched Julie on the Township Committee. I see her commitment to open space, fighting the Penn East pipeline, and fiscal common sense.  I’ve worked with Julie in her role as the Township Committee’s liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission.  She is practical and helpful.
