The Joint Base has posted the following warning for the weekend. West Windsor Police Department explained that the area has experienced some good shaking in the past so… “Hold on to your fluffernutters and stop out to the West Windsor Fire House Sunday at 3pm for their Chili Cook Off (The ground will be shaking there as well!!)”

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst announcement:
For those about to ROCK, we ‪#‎salute‬ you! Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry Regiment from the Massachusetts Army National Guard are scheduled to conduct live mortar training at the JB MDL ranges March 17-March 20.

During this four-day training, the joint base community and residents in the surrounding areas may experience moderate ground shaking and moderate noise coming from the ranges. This noise may be louder and travel farther during overcast weather.
As always, JB MDL appreciates your patience and support as we continue to ensure the readiness of America’s fighting force! ‪
