MercerMe’s Round-Up for week of 4/21

by Mary Galioto

This is our first weekly round-up but this week was jammed packed!

We started off the week with the exciting debut of MercerMe’s newest column, “Mommy Mayor,” written by Lawrence Township mayor, Cathleen Lewis.

Tuesday, we summarized the results of an independent engineering company assessing JCP&L’s reliability of service in Hopewell Township and let you all know about Saturday’s upcoming concert to support the Lakeview Child’s Center Foundation, an event which MercerMe is proud to be one of the sponsors.

Hopewell Boro’s Block Party is coming up on May 10th, tickets are on sale, and we gave you all the details on Wednesday. It’s a blast and all of the Boro will be there — no pressure, but you should be too!

And Thursday, we gave you a double information whammy. Pennington residents have been encouraged to curb water usage during the month-long water tower work. And MercerMe attended Hopewell Boro’s Public Library public meeting this week and summarized the proposed relocation and renovation project as well as the questions posed by the public and answers provided by the library board and boro representatives.

As always, feel free to email us with ideas and feedback!
