On 20th anniversary, 9/11 remembered in Hopewell Valley ceremonies

The Hopewell Valley Veterans Association invites everyone to join them on Saturday, September 11 at 11am at the Memorial in Woolsey Park as all who were lost twenty years ago are remembered.

On Friday morning, a piece of steel that was recovered from the World Trade Center following the attacks on September 11, 2001 was moved to the Media Center at the Hopewell Valley Central High School where it will be on display this year. Photo gallery follows:

On Wednesday, more than 100 volunteers gathered at the Hopewell Valley September 11th and Emergency Services Memorial In Woolsey Park. This group of dedicated volunteers placed 2,977 American flags in the ground at the Memorial, one for each American who perished on September 11, 2001. Photo gallery follows:
