Photo(Booth) Recap of 2015 Hopewell Harvest Fair

by Mary Galioto

We had another fantastic time seeing friends, both old and new, at yesterday’s Hopewell Harvest Fair. With picture perfect fall weather, plenty of fair-goers, amazing bands at the bandstand, a real character scavenger hunt (just to name a few highlights), the day was incredible.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the MercerMe booth and met founder/editor/publisher Mary Galioto, The Taste Chase’s Renata Barnes, and contributor Ryan Kennedy.

Not only is the Hopewell Harvest Fair a fun one-day-event, it is also a grant-giving organization. Last year, the Hopewell Harvest Fair awarded $7,000 worth of grants to twenty-three local nonprofit organizations to help support special projects and contribute to operating costs of many local charitable causes including several elementary school science fairs throughout the Hopewell Valley, a variety of projects for local seniors, several music and theatre programs and includes donations to Womanspace and the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank.

If you are interested in volunteering for next year’s HHF, please see their website www.hopewellharvestfair.org and also follow on FaceBook at www.facebook.com/HopewellHarvestFair.
