On December 13, Officer Steven Ciosek was detailed to Rosedale Park on Federal City Road for a report of a burglary and theft to a motor vehicle. The complainant reported that while their car was parked in the lot, an unknown individual broke a window and removed belongings, valued at under $200. Investigation is ongoing. 

The following incidents were reported for December 17:

In the early morning, Sergeant Karnoff came upon a single car motor vehicle crash on Scotch Road near Nursery Road. The driver was identified as a Lawrenceville resident. Through the investigation, Sergeant Karnoff determined that the driver was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She also was found in possession of suspected heroin and cocaine. She was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters for processing, then charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and driving while under the influence. She was later released. The case will be heard in Superior Court.

Officer Michael Crincoli was detailed to the Tomato Factory on Somerset Street in Hopewell Borough for a reported theft. The complainant reported that sometime over the last several days, an unknown individual broke into a display case and removed numerous valuable coins. The value of the coins was estimated to be more than $5,000. Investigation is ongoing. 

Officer Ciosek was detailed to a South Route 31 address for a report of a burglary and theft to a motor vehicle. The complainant reported that while their car was parked in the lot, an unknown individual broke a window and removed belongings valued at more than $500. Investigation is ongoing
