Police Officer Sara Erwin responded to a River Road address for a Burglary/Theft from a residence on January 1. While investigating the incident, Officer Erwin was advised that the residence was entered between December 27 and December 28,, 2019 while the victim was away. The unknown actor(s) entered the residence and removed jewelry from the residence that is estimated at approximately $4,000. Detective Panzano also responded to the scene and will be continuing with the investigation.  

On January 6, 2020, Officer Nicholas Sparaco conducted a motor vehicle stop on Denow Rd for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle was found to have multiple warrants that were issued for his arrest by the City of Trenton and Hamilton Twp. Municipal Courts. The driver was arrested and transported to the Hopewell Township Police Department where he was processed and then turned over to the Hamilton Township Police Department in default of bail. He was issued a summons and his case will be heard in municipal court.

On January 8, 2020, Officer James Hoffman responded to the area of Harbourton Rocktown Road in reference to a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the at fault vehicle was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was transported to and remained at the hospital for the injuries sustained during the crash. This case will be heard in Municipal Court.  

Officer Maria Gavdanovich responded to a Gentry Court address for the report of a theft of property on January 11. The victim reported that sometime between 10am and 5pm on January 8, an unknown individual took a package that was delivered to the residence. The loss was estimated at approximately $469.00. Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to contact the police department   

Officer Joseph McNeil responded to Capital Health Hospital for the report of a theft of property on January 13. The victim reported that on January 8, an unknown individual took a computer that was left at the location. The loss was estimated at approximately $1,300.00. Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to contact the police department  

On January 13, 2020, Officer Christopher Collins conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Broad St. for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle was found to have an active warrant that was issued for her arrest from the Lebanon Township Municipal Court. The driver was arrested and transported to the Hopewell Township Police Department where she was processed and then turned over to the Lebanon Township Police Department. She was issued multiple summonses and her case will be heard in municipal court.
