The Lawrence Township Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a home invasion incident that occurred on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at approximately 2345 hours in the area of building three and six of the Avalon Run Apartment complex.
The suspects entered the victim’s first floor apartment by an unlocked sliding door and held him at knifepoint while they ransacked the residence. The victim was later forced from his residence into his own vehicle and taken to two local ATM machines where he was forced to withdraw money. The victim who is in his early 30’s was then driven to the City of Trenton where the victim was released and the suspects fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
Suspect one (pictured) is described as a black male between the ages of 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6’0” with a lean build, “curly” or afro like hair style and a mustache and longer, pointy goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt with “Wimbledon” written across the chest in white lettering and jeans. Suspect two was described as a black male between the ages of 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” with a medium build and close cut hair style. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and cargo style shorts.
