Recycling drop off available for Township residents

by Amie Rukenstein

After years of little snow, many people are enjoying sledding and skiing this winter.  However, two back to back storms have made Mercer County’s recycling collection difficult.

The Mercer County Improvement Authority, which is responsible for recycling pick up, states on its Facebook page: ‘The Mercer County Improvement Authority is aware of missed areas during Friday and Saturday’s makeup collection. Due to weather over the weekend, the haulers were unable to safely finish collecting missed areas on Sunday. Please bring bins in and place them out on your next collection day. Drop-off locations are available for residents who do not wish to wait until their next collection day. Please [click here]f or recycling drop off locations:

Fortunately for Hopewell Township residents, one of those locations is the public works building on Washington Crossing – Pennington Road until Thursday. Click here for more information.
